THE RING AND THE WAY

Most people picture salvation like a ring—something you possess or risk dropping—but Jesus reframes it as a road you must walk. You can’t put a road in your pocket; it exists in movement, not as a one-time prize, and stopping is a gradual, recoverable choice rather than an accidental loss. Where some spiritual systems celebrate endless inner ascent without a fixed aim, Jesus gives the journey a direction: toward the infinite God, not merely toward higher states of consciousness. That shift frees the traveler to measure progress not by rung or rank but by whom they move toward, with each step opening a deeper encounter with the Source.
