RAPTURE

Jesus spoke of a future event where the worthy would be gathered by angels, a concept later interpreted as the rapture. His disciples, including Paul, believed this transformation would happen in their lifetime, though history proved otherwise. Similar instances in Scripture, like Jesus’ transfiguration and Old Testament accounts of individuals being “taken,” suggest a mysterious transition into a spiritual existence. Rather than waiting for the world's end, Jesus emphasized entering God’s Kingdom through inner transformation, a slow and unseen ascent toward the divine.
